Momi Battery Historic Park (Momi Gun Site)
Going back to 1941 this now silent gun battery site played an important role in protecting Fiji and its people during the war.
The site overlooks the Navula Passage which offers one of a few breaks in the surrounding reef. This was a place where enemy ships could enter and attack Nadi and its airfields.
Join us to learn more of the history and to see the “big guns” that still remain in their original places today. The view out over the Mamunuca Islands (which is also something special) can be enjoyed whilst you enjoy a light morning tea.
