Ratu Nemani Memorial School
This is a small school in the Nadroga/Navosa Education District of Fiji. Most visitors may be more familiar with the area if we say it’s close to Momi Bay. The school has children from grade 1 to grade 7 and currently has 95 students in 8 classes. The school has 4 class rooms with 5 staff members
This school is really in need. They require all stationery items, exercise books, pencils, white board markers etc, sporting equipment and especially books for their library. As the school only has one over-head projector to share amongst all class rooms we are hoping the money we give for visiting will be able to assist them quickly in being able to purchase at least one more in the near future.
If you would like to join us on a visit, we'd be happy to have you along
Nalele Village is a small village located in the beautiful rolling hills of Natadola. There are currently 200 people residing in the village. Until we were officially welcomed into the village in mid-February 2017, the village had never had guests or organized tours come to them.
After turning off the main bitumen road you encounter the small, bumpy (at times very bumpy) dirty road, which we travel on for about 15minutes until we reach the entrance to the village.
Once we turn into the village we are immediately greeted by “BIG BULAS” from everywhere. All the villagers come and gather in the community hall to greet us with the traditional welcoming Lai’s and Kava ceremony. It is then the true spirit of these beautiful people shine. There is much singing, dancing and laughter to be shared amongst everyone. There is no separation of villagers and visitors, we all become one family.
Later you are then taken on a tour of the village to see how these amazing people go about their daily lives. The memories from this visit will remain for a lifetime.
Natadola Beach would have to be one of the best, if not the best beach on the main island, Vitu Levu. A large stretch of white sandy beach. You can enjoy a lazy day on the beach, swimming and snorkeling.
We can organise beach massages, beach horse riding, Hair braiding and so much more. We offer traditionally cooked Fijian Lovo lunch on the beach or the very popular sunset Lovo dinner and bonfire, or perhaps you’ve prefer fresh caught crab???? Choice is all yours.
